Unknown thugs have reportedly stolen lightning arrestors at Biiso Health Center IV in Biiso Town Council Buliisa district.
The arrestors were installed in the newly constructed general ward, which is in the final stages of completion.
This was unearthed during the inspection by the Buliisa District Woman Member of Parliament, Norah Bigirwa Nyendwoha, on Monday evening.
The 100-bed capacity general ward is being constructed by Bigirwa Norah.
The legislator challenged the public to be vigilant and protect the health center property, saying they were to improve health services in the district.
Bigirwa, who doubles as the chairperson of the foreign affairs committee, commenced the construction of a general ward at Biiso Health Centre IV in May 2023 in a bid to improve the health service delivery in the oil-rich Buliisa district since the facility had only one ward shared by all patients.
