The continuous and increased human pressure on natural resources like Forests, Mountains, swamps, rivers and many others have led to the erratic climate changes.

This has been revealed by the residents of Biiso sub County Buliisa District while speaking to Biiso FM reporter this evening.

Robert Kisembo and Lawrence of Akiimi B and Kyabarungi villages explains that the continuous blustering of big stones and hills by the road construction companies has contributed to the unprecedented climate change.

Charles Mwijakuba a resident of Busingiro village explains that, the increasing farming activities on wetlands has greatly brought about climatic changes.

Abel Tumwine thus says the climatic changes have been brought about the increasing human population which has resulted to increased demand for fire wood, poles for building, charcoal and timber have put forests at a high risk of being destroyed.

However, Ashraf Kanagisa blames the government for deploying corrupt police officers especially on safeguarding the forests.
