Biiso FM 97.8 is a vibrant and contemporary FM radio station broadcasting 24/7 from Biiso Town in Buliisa District in Bunyoro Sub-region. It is licenced by the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC). The station effectively covers the districts of Buliisa, Hoima, Masindi, Kiryandongo, Kibaale, Kagadi, Kikuube, Kyankwanzi, Nebbi, Nwoya, Zombo, parts of Kyenjojo, Nakasongola, Nakaseke, Ntoroko and Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo,. Biiso FM hit the air waves in February 2016 testing its signal and kick-started its official business on 1st May 2016. It quickly dominated the airwaves in Buliisa District and the surrounding areas in the region.
Biiso FM has a complete line-up of experienced professional staff ranging from presenters, reporters, engineers, marketers and administrators. Biiso FM is monitored by IPSOS which reports monthly to the advertisers using recorded evidence to prove that the business was run as agreed.
