Global football star Cristiano Ronaldo is officially engaged to his longtime partner Georgina Rodríguez.
Rodríguez announced the big news on Instagram, sharing a photo of her hand with a stunning diamond ring and the caption in Spanish: “Yes I do. In this and in all my lives.”
The post quickly went viral, attracting likes from celebrities including Kim Kardashian, and well wishes from friends like Piers Morgan, who wrote: “Wishing them as much success in their marriage as he’s had on the football pitch!”
So far, Ronaldo has not publicly commented on the engagement. The couple, together for nine years, met in Madrid in 2016 when Georgina was working at a Gucci store and Ronaldo was playing for Real Madrid.
They share two children together, including their daughter Bella, born in 2022. Georgina also helps raise Ronaldo’s other three children.
The 31-year-old model and influencer, who stars in the Netflix reality show I Am Georgina, had previously brushed off engagement speculation, saying her friends teased her with the song “The Ring” by Jennifer Lopez.
Now, the rumors are finally put to rest.
