Buhimba United Saints have been disappointed after being held by Kitara Regional league relegation strugglers; Kirasa United Football club to a 1-1 draw at Kigayo playground in Kikuube District.

The Kikuube based Table leaders of the Albert group in Kitara regional league hoped to win the game as it would increase chances of tightening the belt on top of the table and hopefully increasing the chances of being crowned as champions of the albert group in the Kitara regional league.

Sabiri Yasinta gave Buhimba United Saints an early lead before kirasa United roared back in the last 10minutes with a penalty.

Nicolas Wamani, the team captain Buhimba United Saints after the match expressed his dismay over how the game officials officiated the match.

Nicolas Wamani says as a club they have been facing a lot of challenges to travel in various places to play away games and the procured minibus will have boosted them and as a team they will work hard and qualify for Big league come next season.

On the same day Buhimba United Saints unveiled a new brandy minibus to the fans procured to transport footballers and generate income for the club through hiring it.

The procured Min-bus is number UBP 571R

Engineer Jonard Asiimwe the Match Chief Guest and other Buhimba United Fans appreciated the Buhimba United Saints for procuring the Min-Bus that will be transporting the players and supporting the club financially.

Currently, Buhimba Saints United is topping the Albert group with 17 points followed by Kagadi United FC with 13 points and Karuguza United fc from Kibaale district in the third place with only 11 points.

Most of the teams have so far played 7 matches of the first round of the season 2023-24.
