Police in the Albertine North Region have received a new truck from the Uganda Police Force headquarters in Kampala to boost mobility and operations.
The Albertine North Community Liaison Officer and Acting Regional Police Spokesperson, Solomon Mugisa, confirmed that the truck, registration number UP 00293, was recently delivered.
In an Interview with Biiso FM reporter this evening, Mugisa said the vehicle will facilitate the movement of police officers across districts and help transport essential supplies such as food, water, and uniforms.

He commended government and the Inspector General of Police, Abas Byakagaba, saying the truck will strengthen community policing and security operations in the region.
Mugisa added that the delivery comes shortly after the region received motorcycles for each sub-county, which will further improve service delivery.
