Buliisa
The district second runners up in the recently concluded parliamentary elections Mr Mugume Robert AKA Soferi and Hon Harriet Kusemererwa aka Kachabuke have vowed to challenge the poll results in courts of law.
This was revealed during their joint press briefing at Hoima Kolping gardens yesterday.
The duo contend that the election was not free and fair since some of their agents were intimidated and also cited voter bribery from their opponents
They also expressed concern over the alleged manipulation of votes mostly from polling stations gazette within military installation.
They asked the people of Buliisa to remain vigilant as the country heads to elect LC5 and district councilors on Thursday 22nd Jan 2026.

In accordance to the official results declared by Robert Kunihira the returning officer Buliisa district Kusemererwa Harriet lost to the incumbent Hon. Norah Bigirwa Nyendwoha with a margin of 5317 votes whereas incumbent Hon. Allan Atugonza won Robert Mugume with a margin of 3639 which they say the results were influenced
