Shock and grief have engulfed residents of Bugana-Kichooke Village in Buliisa Sub-county after a 7-year-old girl was killed by lightning.

The tragic incident occurred yesterday Tuesday at around 11 a.m. during a rain drizzle when lightning struck a grass-thatched house where nine people had taken shelter.
