A total of 1,876 Primary Seven candidates in Buliisa District are set to sit for this year’s Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).
According to Nicholas Aliganyira, the District Councilor representing Biiso Town Council and Chairperson of the Health and Education Committee, officials from the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) have successfully conducted a briefing for invigilators who will supervise the exams.
Aliganyira revealed that 25 examination centers have been gazetted across the district, where candidates will write their papers.

He further appealed to parents to fully support their children with all the necessary scholastic materials, such as pens, pencils, Mathematical set uniforms, and food, to help them perform well.

The 2025 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) officially begin tomorrow, Friday, with the nationwide briefing of candidates.
During the briefing, candidates will be guided on examination rules, procedures, and expected conduct.
The exams will commence on Monday morning next week with the Mathematics paper and Social Studies with Religious Education in the evening, marking the start of the written examinations across the country.
