Thousands of mourners yesterday gathered at the home of the late Pastor Fred Kazooba in Nankulabye–Seyeya, Kagadi Town, to pay their last respects to the former Biiso FM Station Manager.
Pastor Kazooba, who served as Station Manager at Biiso FM from 2019 to 2023, passed away in the early hours of Thursday at Ishaka SDA Hospital in Bushenyi, following heart-related complications.
During the funeral service, mourners from across the country described the late Pastor Kazooba as a loving, caring, and humble servant of God who dedicated his life to ministry and service to others.
Preaching during the service, the President of the Uganda Union Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Pastor Samuel Kajoba, enlightened the congregation about life after death, emphasizing that the dead know nothing and have no power to seek revenge. He explained that the dead will only resurrect when Jesus Christ returns.

Pastor Kajoba urged Christians to love Jesus Christ if they hope to enter heaven, saying only those who love and obey Him will resurrect to inherit eternal life, while those who reject Him will resurrect to face judgment.

The funeral attracted pastors, elders, and Christians from across Uganda and neighboring East African countries.
The late Pastor Fred Kazooba was finally laid to rest at his ancestral home in Nyankoma Village, Muhorro Sub-county, Kagadi District.
