The Bishop of Bunyoro Kitara Diocese, Jacob Ateirweho Amooti, has urged the youth to avoid immoral acts, saying society today often glorifies evil.
Speaking during a dedication service for Central School candidates, Bishop Amooti cautioned students against wasting time on relationships, bullying, alcoholism, and smoking.
He encouraged them instead to focus on studies, serve God, and uphold discipline—key to success in academics, marriage, and work.
He also advised teachers to use positive language when correcting learners, stressing that motivation helps build confidence and perseverance.
