All eyes will be on Namboole Stadium this Monday night as Uganda takes on South Africa in a decisive CHAN 2024 Group C encounter. Kick-off is at 8:00 p.m., and every ticket for the highly anticipated match is already sold out.
Uganda currently tops Group C with six points, just ahead of Algeria and South Africa on five points each. A win or draw will secure the Cranes a place in the quarter-finals.
The Local Organising Committee (LOC) has cautioned fans against buying physical tickets, reminding the public that all sales have been done exclusively online since the start of the tournament. Counterfeit or duplicate tickets will not be accepted, and offenders risk arrest.
To cater for fans without tickets, the LOC has set up free Fan Parks in Kampala, Masindi, and Bweyogerere. Venues include Café Milano, Kyadondo Rugby Grounds, and King’s Park Arena, where the match will be shown live with music entertainment.
The Cranes have enjoyed massive home support so far, with an average of 34,000 fans filling Namboole whenever the team plays.
