An over speeding motorist died on spot after knocking a person leaving him with deep cut injuries on the leg.
The deceased who was a motor cycle rider identified as Siraji Mugisa 35yr.old a resident of Wantebo cell in Butiaba town council was riding his motorcycle with his friend heading to Butiaba to buy petrol for a generator to operate a public system address [disco].
The incident happened yesterday at around 7pm along Biiso Wantebo Piida Butiaba road in Butiaba town council Buliisa District.
According to Asaba K Musa Awera, the butiaba town council Mayor said they are suspecting the cause of the accident to be over speeding and reckless riding ridding.
Musa adds that accidents are common but urged the road users to be keen and careful while using the road.
One of the eye witnesses who spoke to Biiso FM reporter on condition of anonymity said the cause of the accident was over speeding as he failed to control himself hence knocking.
The deceased body was handed to the relatives and the injured whose identities was not known by press time was rushed to Butiaba health center 3 for treatment.
