According to Kagoro, cattle keepers take advantage of minimal UWA patrols during night hours and take their herds inside the park for grazing. He said that this is dangerous for both the domestic animals and the wild animals since they can be a source of zoonotic diseases like foot and mouth disease.
Kagoro further revealed that whoever shall be caught grazing inside the park will face the law and the cattle shall be impounded.
He aurded community members to appreciate the contribution and benefits they get from the park like fire wood, grass and revenue sharing.
Kabagemba Kamada the LC111 chairperson Bulisa sub county appealed to community members to always colorable with UWA and maintain a good working relationship.
