Buliisa District could soon host a modern museum, thanks to a generous Good Samaritan who has expressed interest in funding the construction of the facility. However, the project is currently stalled due to lack of land.
Speaking to our reporter at the district headquarters, Mr. Fredrick Alituha revealed that the benefactor is ready to fund the construction, but has asked the district to secure land for the project.

Mr. Alituha called upon residents, particularly those with large pieces of land, to offer part of it for the development, stressing that the museum will create employment and boost tourism and income for the community.

He further encouraged residents to emulate communities in districts like Kasese, Fort Portal, and Hoima, where locals have donated land to support government and private development initiatives.

Mr. Alituha also appealed to Buliisa natives in the diaspora to consider investing back home, highlighting that such efforts could transform the district and help address youth unemployment.
