Total Energies EP Uganda, in partnership with the Society of Petroleum Engineers Uganda Chapter, has brought together over 300 young Ugandans for the second Youth in Energy Conference at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala.
Held under the theme “Awareness to Action: Youth Shaping Uganda’s Energy Transition,” the event focused on empowering young people to lead the country’s shift toward clean and sustainable energy.
Total Energies Vice President for Engagement and Advocacy, Marieme-Sav Sow, said Uganda’s youthful population over 75 percent under 30 represents a generation capable of redefining development through innovation and sustainability.
Speakers from UNOC, PAU, and Makerere Innovation Hub discussed opportunities for youth in energy careers, policy, and technology.
