Former Buliisa District Woman Member of Parliament, Honourable Beatrice Mpairwe, has called upon residents of Buliisa District to turn up in large numbers to welcome President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni during his visit scheduled for Thursday, the 11th of this month.

Speaking to our reporter this evening at Biiso FM Radio, Hon. Mpairwe who now serves as the NRM Coordinator for President Museveni’s campaign in Greater Masindi highlighted the achievements of the ruling National Resistance Movement in the district and the entire Bunyoro region.

She pointed out key developments including the construction of tarmac roads, extension of electricity, implementation of government wealth creation initiatives such as the Parish Development Model, Emyooga, and the Uganda Women Entrepreneurship Programme, as well as progress in oil and gas exploration in the Albertine region.

Mpairwe said these achievements are clear evidence of President Museveni’s commitment to transforming Buliisa and uplifting livelihoods across the region.

She urged residents to show their support by turning up in big numbers to welcome the President.

She emphasized that the NRM government has fulfilled most of its pledges and continues to implement programs aimed at fighting poverty and improving household incomes.

President Museveni is expected to address key issues affecting the region and interact with leaders, mobilizers, and residents during his visit.
