Preparations are in high gear for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s NRM presidential campaign trail in the Bunyoro Sub–region.
Speaking at Hoima Resort Hotel yesterday, NRM Vice Chairperson for Western Uganda Eng. Jonard Asiimwe rallied residents whom he called the “grandsons of Kabalega”—to turn up in large numbers and welcome the President.
He credited President Museveni for transforming the region, citing key projects such as Kabalega International Airport and Hoima City Stadium.

Asiimwe urged residents to recognize government developments and called on the youth to take part in wealth-creation initiatives.

President Museveni’s campaign tour will run from December 9th to 15th, covering all districts in the Bunyoro Sub–region.
