The petroleum authority of Uganda is set to have a special registration excersise for companies, individuals and businesses interested in participating in the country’s oil and gas sectors.

According to the authorities, the exercise will focus on two key areas; registering businesses that wish to supply goods and services on the national supplier database and registering skilled individuals on the national oil and talent register

PAU emphasizes hat Uganda law requires all suppliers and individuals seeking opportunities in the oil and gas industry to officially be registered

The registration will run from Monday 24th November 2025 to Wednesday 26th November 2025, at the PAU offices in Buliisa, from 8:30 am to 5pm daily

Business wishing to register must present documents including a certificate of incorporation, a banker’s reference letter, a tax clearance addressed to PAU, NSSF clearance, URBS annual returns, proof of nationality, a Tin number, among other

Individuals seeking employment in the sector are required to bring national identification, relevant academic documents and an email address.
