Over 8000 people residing in two parishes of Kamina and Ndaiga in Ndaiga Sub County Kagadi district are in total fear of land eviction by absent land loads.
The affected areas are found over 1200 hectares of land under three land titles that were registered in 2013, 2015 and 2015 alleged to have been sold to a top-ranked UPDF officer identified as Major. George Rwabusisi
The land comprises a community school, a public toilet, a market, over three churches, demonstration garden for NAADS among others.
Residents are appealing to the area Members of Parliament, PM Robina Nabanja, and president Museveni to rush to their rescue.
They also asked the government to either cancel the title since it was illegally obtained or buy and compensate the one who claim to be the landlord.
According to local leaders, they have approached different offices at the district but they were surprised to find out that the RDC is in favor of the absent land load.
Now the leaders have resolved to mobilize the residents to fight for their land.
