KAMPALA — October 28, 2025:
The Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs, Moses Byaruhanga, has appealed to Ugandans to re-elect President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, praising his visionary leadership that has brought peace, democracy, and sustained economic transformation to the country.

Speaking from his office at Okello House, State House, Byaruhanga said President Museveni’s consistent and strategic leadership has positioned Uganda on a firm path toward prosperity.

“President Museveni has consistently demonstrated the wisdom and capacity needed to guide the nation. Re-electing him will ensure the consolidation of the gains made and the realization of a better Uganda for generations to come,” Byaruhanga stated.

He highlighted several flagship government programs that have significantly improved livelihoods and strengthened the country’s economic base, including the Parish Development Model (PDM), Emyooga, the Women in Business GROW Program, the Youth Livelihood Program, and the Women Entrepreneurship Program. These initiatives, he noted, have empowered local communities and accelerated inclusive growth across the nation.

Byaruhanga expressed confidence that, if given another mandate, President Museveni would continue prioritizing key national development projects — especially the enhancement of civil servants’ salaries to improve service delivery across all sectors.

On infrastructure, he cited ongoing and planned initiatives such as the expansion and rehabilitation of the railway network, upgrading of national road systems, universal access to affordable electricity, and the construction and renovation of schools and hospitals.

“These initiatives are central to the NRM government’s commitment to improving the livelihoods of Ugandans and building a stronger national economy,” he added.

Byaruhanga reaffirmed that under President Museveni’s continued leadership, Uganda is poised to achieve even greater progress and stability in the coming years.
