Hoima – Shock has gripped residents of Kapapi Trading Centre in Hoima District after a two-day-old baby girl was discovered dumped in a garden of beans.
The baby, wrapped in a dirty used charcoal sack, was found this morning at around 7:30 a.m. by children heading to fetch water. The children heard cries from the sack and alerted a resident, Janet Kiiza, who rushed to the scene and confirmed the discovery.
Kapapi II East LC1 Chairperson, Mr. Micheal Ukecha, says residents immediately informed him about the matter.
