Hoima City, Uganda — In a related development, the territorial police in Hoima have recovered a motorcycle believed to have been stolen from Kagadi District.
According to Julius Allan Hakiza, a red Bajaj motorcycle with registration number UER 887B was recovered on August 3rd along Kasamba Road in Hoima City. Police suspect the number plate was altered from its original mark, UER 687B.
The motorcycle was found in a local garage where it was being repaired. The suspected rider fled the scene upon noticing police presence.
Hakiza revealed that, based on intelligence, the motorcycle may have been stolen from Kagadi and is currently parked at Hoima Central Police Station pending verification.
He urged the public to report individuals involved in tampering with vehicle registration numbers.
