Boda Boda riders in Buliisa District are being urged to exercise caution on the roads to prevent accidents, especially as poor road conditions and risky riding habits continue to pose serious threats.

Ronald Bikobo, popularly known as “Hard Body” and chairperson of the Boda Boda association in Biiso Town Council, made the appeal during an exclusive interview with our reporter. He emphasized the need for vigilance and discipline among riders.

James Boda, a rider at Biiso Town stage, echoed the call for safer riding practices. He advised fellow cyclists to avoid carrying more than two passengers and to regularly check the mechanical condition of their motorcycles before heading out.

Across Buliisa and surrounding areas, Boda Boda riders are also raising alarm over deteriorating road infrastructure especially during the rainy season. Muddy, flooded, and slippery roads have made daily operations not only difficult but dangerous.

Riders are calling on local leaders in Buliisa District to urgently address the worsening road conditions before the situation escalates further.
